1.       To complete the installation, the locations of the following directories must be determined:

• web-server directory: The directory on the web-server machine that is to contain the WFO’s viewer html pages. If the system machine and web-server machine are the same, viewck output directory should be identical to this.
• FTP directory: The directory on the watches/warnings machine that is to contain the html pages for the RFI constructor.
• RFI input directory: The directory on the system machine that will contain two subdirectories, bfs and esp, which will contain the RFI input files for the BFS and ESP systems, respectively.  The name of this directory will be requested by the installation script (see below).

2.       Move to the directory where the files necessary for the RFI will be installed.
 

3.       FTP to pqpf.sys.virginia.edu, logging in as "www" with password "******", and type the following lines in sequence:

$ cd RFI_Files<return>
$ get WFO_RFI_Install.* <return>
$ quit <return>
$ chmod +x *.exe
$ WFO_RFI_Install.exe


The RFC_RFI_Install script will now execute.  Simply follow the directions.  All directories and files for the RFI will be installed in the current active directory.

4.       FTP the contents of the html_files directory to FTP directory on the watches/warnings machine and web-server directory on the web-server machine (this may just require a copy if the web-server and system machines are the same). The mode of FTP must be binary.

5.       Copy the file identitydb.obj as described in Miscellaneous Tasks.
