1.       Open up an internet browser and go to the site:

2.       Click on “Download Software” (upper right portion of page), and follow instructions.

3.       After completing the download, execute the self-extracting compressed file that was downloaded and follow the installation instructions.  If given the option, make this browser the system’s default browser.

4.       Open up an internet browser and go to the site:

5.       Click on “Java Plug-in Download” (near the top of the page), and follow instructions.

6.       After completing the download, execute the self-extracting compressed file that was downloaded and follow the installation instructions.

7.       Restart the computer, if necessary.

Netscape 4.5 and JDK 1.1.1 Plug-in are now installed, and all versions of the RFI can now be viewed.
 

For Windows 95/98: Copy the file identitydb.obj from within the FTP directory on the watches/warnings machine to the C:\Windows directory of that machine (if necessary, replace C: with the bootable, or root, drive of your system).

For Windows NT: Copy the file identitydb.obj from within the FTP directory on the watches/warnings machine to the profile directory of every user that is to decide watches and warnings.  Typically, the profile directory can be found at C:\Winnt\profiles\<user name>, where <user name> is the user name of the individual on the watches/warnings machine (if necessary, replace C: with the bootable, or root, drive of your system).
